There is a wide slot labeled 'SC.' I have no idea what that is. I bought a stand-alone device for reading SD cards that works great. Suggest you do the same for your card. This laptop is really fast and reliable. Best of four used PCs I've bought--all from Best Buy. First desktop lasted 10 years!!! Good luck.
