• There is no pen with this laptop. It is however touch screen so if you don't want to use your finger you can use a pen.

• Kevin, thank you for your question on this HP laptop! This model is not compatible with an active stylus: It is only usable by a stylus that has a rubber tip that simulates a finger. If an active stylus pen like the HP Tilt Pen is required for you, the Envy and Spectre 2-in-1 laptops will work with those.
