“Can you charge the laptop via USB-C with the laptop on?”

• I just bought this laptop; it will only charge with USB-C if the laptop is sleeping or powered off. It will not charge when the laptop is on. I was disappointed to hear this after the official HP said otherwise.

• USB-C charging does work, and I was able to get a max of 46 watts of power consistently. I did have to have the laptop turned off for it to charge though (See photos).

• Yes, this Envy laptop has 2-USB type C ports in which you can charge the laptop.
