A:AnswerThe backlighting came on automatically for mine. However, it is VERY difficult to see which keys are which in dark settings. Compared to real backlighting on other brands, it is useless.
A:AnswerNo it doesn't unless you get their HP protection plan. You are better off getting Geek Squad protection because you will be waiting a lot in ques when calling HP. Last time I waited like 40 minutes just to confirm that my serial number for a part on my laptop was the correct one to use when browsing their site.
A:AnswerGood question. The memory slot on this laptop is not user accessible so you won't be able to upgrade the RAM. For more detailed specs, please visit the following link:

A:AnswerIt does but I noticed that It was a software driver update and was added at my Product warranty registration and my Smart TV was paired and linked without WIDI and seemed to work good the WIDI is also supposed to help with phones and tablets, but I had smart Samsung and Samsung phone and they linked a long time ago I know that the Microsoft people have a free app at the store and then say you need a add on MS device well don't spend the money for the device because I connected with out the 50.00 dollar device and a lot of bad reviews about there app so I do know that the pairing takes it time and I had to push the router button and other things sometimes it will freeze then just go to settings and delete the device and then read it and that works.
A:AnswerCheck and see if you are in airplane mode. Mine keeps turning on airplane mode all by itself, which prevents internet connectivity. The icon won't go away even after I manually turn it off over and over in the Control Panel.
