We bought it on black Friday 2024 and they didn't say anything about it being or going to be discontinued. Actually told us it was one of the best selling model Envy's being made right now. But that was from the people at best buy and not HP directly, so you never know what HP may decide to do

"Discontinued" only means that it is no longer being manufactured. HP will still honor the factory warranties as well as any of their respective extended service plans. HP will also continue to have driver updates and downloads for some time. If you're a Geek Squad member, you may also have support on this even after the factory warranty expires,
