Thank you for your question regarding the Envy 2-in-1 14" 14-es0013dx. As long as there is a router that you have the credentials for and access to, you will be able to connect. You will not be required to get a new router as it is backwards compatible with the other connection types.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No you probably don’t need a new router, 6E is backwards compatible to WiFi 6 and WiFi 5 Or 4. Just a bit slower with older router. Also don’t pay good money to upgrade your router to a speed faster than your modem bandwidth (unless you have a local file server or very fast printer, or plan to bump up your modem speed soon).
