• Sharon, thank you for your question about this laptop. This laptop is not military-grade, however it is made with durability in mind with the aluminum body.. Military-grade laptops are much heavier and are made for extreme conditions that are outside of the operating specifications of this laptop. Dust is easy to counter: You can push canned air through the vents every few days to prevent buildup.
