Yes. With a little help from yourself. Open HP Smart, and then select your printer, if it is not already selected. Under Tools, click Print Quality Tools. Next to Clean Printhead, click Clean or Clean Printheads. After the printhead cleaning procedure, the printer prints a Print Quality Diagnostic report.

The printer will do its regular maintenance routine when the printer is left on. If you need to do additional cleaning, we recommend doing a head cleaning.
