“How difficult is it to set up a wireless printer? I am an 80 year old who has a basic understanding of computers. I do have a wireless system set up in my home for TV, internet and phones. Do I need accessories to set up the computer. Does it just involve plugging a printer into a socket with my wireless house set up? Or do I have to physically connect my computer to the printer? My computer is on the first floor and the printer is on the second floor. My house is very small and I do not have room to keep the printer attached to the computer. I know this is a stupid question, but before I purchase a wireless computer, I need to be sure that I will be able to hook it up myself and have it work. Thank you very much.”

Rose, it is very easy to set up a wireless printer. Once you plug it in it practically installs itself. you will not have to connect your computer to the printer. The instructions that will come up on the printer and your computer will help you a lot. I hope I was helpful. Good Luck!

The printer just needs to be plugged in the wall outlet for electricity, and plugged into the router for connections. When you buythe printer everything comes with it. Easy installation, if you get computers and set up your router - i believe that the printer is easier. As long as you have the printer on, you can print anywhere in your house and it will be printed. I bought this and haven't had any problems with it, works great. I would recommend it

Please try again later.Everything should hook up wirelessly, when you go to purchase the computer or printer the people at Best Buy should be able to explain everything to you as to the compatibility with each other. I have all Apple products, cell phones & computers, I recently purchased an HP Envy 7640 printer and it was a simple set up, I can print from my iPhone's and my computers...all wirelessly, and my computer & printer are in different rooms. The printer itself was easy to set up & had easy to follow step by step instructions.
