What is needed for a microphone? null

Thank you for your question. You will need a microphone with a 3.5mm plug.

Follow up to my previous answer you'll need an external mic I personally went to Google and look for something in my price point that had the options I wanted got home took it out of the box plugged it into the back of the tower it worked.

You have to purchase an external microphone. I went to Google did my research and purchased the one that suited my needs at the price point I wanted to pay.

A USB Microphone is preferred. You can find these at bestbuy.com under Computers & Tablets / Computer Accessories & Peripherals / Headsets & Microphones
