- Answer Thank you for the question. The Envy Inspire 7255e does not have a memory card slot. You would print photos from your smartphone or computer using the HP Smart App. Images are not saved by the printer or anywhere except on the originating device.

- Answer Thank you for the question. You'll be able to use heat transfer paper with any of our inkjet models. Thermal inkjet refers to the technology in the ink cartridge (that ensures proper ink viscosity), and heat transfer refers to the method used to apply the printed image onto the item to which you're transferring.

- Answer If you sign up for instant ink and you're printer is continually hooked to Wifi HP then knows when you require ink so they ship it and you have it before you run out. I have used Instant Ink for several years now and will continue to do so. The cost of the ink is significantly lower than buying it yourself. And the convenience is the best.

Bonus tips: To make a large copy of a small original, scan the original into the computer, resize the image in the scanning software, and then print a copy of the enlarged image. If you want to adjust scan size, output type, scan resolution, file type, and so on, start a scan from the printer software. You can also reduce and enlarge using the HP Smart App.

- Answer Thank you for the question. The two are very similar, with a couple of exceptions. The Envy Inspire 7955e has a document feeder. This is helpful when scanning multiple-page documents (you can also scan single pages from the glass). Because of the feeder, the 7955e can also scan legal-sized (8.5 x 14") documents. The 7255e can only scan from the glass, single pages, and only up to letter size. The Envy Inspire 7955e is larger, measuring 22.44 x 11.93 x 18.27 inches, and the Envy Inspire 7255e measures 18.11 x 15.08 x 7.5 inches.

- Answer Hello. Thanks for your question. No. This HP Envy Inspire 7255e printer uses WiFi technology. If you want a direct connection. We recommend using WiFi Direct. Wireless Direct (WiFi Direct) allows you to directly connect to a printer from a mobile device or computer without the need for internet access or a wireless network. You would connect to the printer’s wireless direct signal just like you would connect to a wireless network. The printer would have a unique name in your wireless connections, i.e. Direct-04-Printer.

- Answer I'm not sure what "light print" means, but it is possible to adjust the amount of ink used for printing. The lowest which I use for routine printing is 300 dpi and can be adjusted upward

- Answer If you would like to know which printers are compatible with MacOS 10.13, you can look at the drivers for the printer by searching the model number and drivers. The Envy Inspire 7255e is compatible with MacOS 10.13. At this time the current HP Deskjet, Envy and Officejet Pro units are all compatible with MacOS 10.13 with support up to MacOS 12.
