Q: QuestionDoes the screen get bright enough? I have the Asus Q504UAK but the screen wont get any brighter. I also have a HP All in One screen is amazing. I like the asus but i cant deal with the dim screen. I want to trade in the asus for the HP.

Q: Questionbought this laptop 3 days ago, at BestBuy, cost $769, its burning up to the touch, fan is been running high & loud for about 4hrs now, so I put it in Tent mode to see if that would help & nothing has changed, I wonder if I should return it? Or Fix it?

• A:Answer It could be you have a background process running which is consuming a lot of the processors power. I'd check there. HP loaded this laptop with a bunch of junk like "HP Assistant" and other "helpful tools". I stopped one of the processes and the fans turned off and it's run silent since then. I personally got rid of every HP installed program. I hate BLOATWARE with new PC's. Hope this helps someone. I am happy with the computer.

• A:Answer No as far as I know it won't run any downloaded game smoothly. I played Team Fortress 2, and the computer shut down due to overheating issues. I believe it has enough power to run the game, but it's cooling system can't keep up. Overheating is a common issue with this model and so far no one on the HP forums to my knowledge has solved the issue.

Q: QuestionWhat Stylus should I buy for this laptop? I want to use it to draw. Also, will the laptop register my hand if its pressed against the screen while using the stylus? Also want to use it to take notes in class.

• A:Answer I never used a stylus with It so I don't know about that. It does has a high quality touch screen, but is very hard to use as a tablet due to the heavy weight. Its hard to find a good, and stable position. As a result drawing is hard, and I almost never used it's tablet mode.

• A:Answer The speakers are very nice, and are fairly loud, but not loud enough to blast it so your neighbors will hear. Just be careful what programs you install and run. This laptop is known for over heating, I recommend a different laptop with a Bang and Olufsen sound syetem.

• A:Answer As with every laptop, you need to do regular software and hardware maintenance. This means cleaning your computer vents with compressed air and even removing components that are hard to reach with the compressed air. For software maintenance, download the free softwares: Malwarebytes, Spybot, CC Cleaner. Make sure you defragment your machine after you run those programs. If the problem is not resolved, you may have a faulty HDD drive. However, 99% of the time, you will need to run those programs due to malware on your computer.
