Currently, there is no annual payment plan, however, in theory, you could purchase pre-paid Instant Ink cards from your retailer and add them to your account as your primary payment method. You would still need to enter a credit card for monthly billing after the pre-paid balance has been cleared. For more information, please reach out to Instant Ink Customer Service at 1-855-785-2777.

Q: QuestionI have attempted to subscribe to this program of receiving the instant ink twice. I received only one delivery of ink cartilage . I am not clear what happened to future delivery. Can you help me?

• A:Answer Did you enroll a plan successfully? If so, when your HP printer connected to a wifi, then, HP will know how to estimate when you need new ink cartridges, they will mail out what you need. They will send you an confirmation email to inform how many ink cartridges in the package. Unfortunately, you will not know that whether they will mail 1 or 2 ink cartridges beforehand. But, I never run out of ink. I alway receive new cartridges before I really need them. FYI, if you somehow receive new ink cartridges and you realize you don’t use up your plan and decide to cancel your subscription; you cannot use that new ink cartridges. You can try to install it but it will not let you print. You need to buy a new ink cartridges in order to use your printer. You also cannot use your old ink cartridges ( the very first one comes with your printer, in case you have leftover, install your new one and save the old one for later use). Hope this helps.

Q: QuestionWe have the Instant Ink plan on our current HP printer but are planning to replace it with a new and different HP printer that has the Instant Ink plan option as well. Do we need to cancel the current plan and then sign again with the new printer?

• A:Answer You would just simply sign in to your account, then select the Enroll/Replace link. The Enroll/Replace link will be located right under the name of your current printer. You would select "Enroll an additional printer" or "Replace an existing printer". And follow the prompts to set up the new printer.

Click Next, and then Cancel Enrollment to confirm your cancellation request. You can cancel enrollment in HP Instant Ink at any time without penalty. Before you cancel the service, read the following information carefully: •HP Instant Ink cartridges do not work after the end of your current billing period, and you are required to return them to HP. To continue printing after your billing cycle ends, make sure you have standard replacement ink cartridges ready to use in your printer. If you do not have the postage-paid envelope provided by HP, go to Recycling HP Instant Ink Cartridges to order an envelope.* •There is no pro-rated reimbursement for the remainder of your billing period. •Your service continues until the end of your current billing period. •If there are any charges for additional printing, your credit card is charged. • A:Answer With this program you get 300 pages color and BW. There is no extra cost for color. I have been using the 300 page program for 4 months. I had 1 month where I used all of my rolll over pages and an extra 50 pages. The cost was still much less than buying purchasing cartridges monthly on my own. I was averaging $40 a month on ink and now I’m spending under $15 per month for HP instant ink!!!

• A:Answer Think of the 2.99 as a payment plan. If I buy ink for my printer from the store it is $40 and lasts about 6 months. $2.99 for 6 months is $18, which is less than half the cost of buying from the store.
