QuestionHow long will the cartridges last that come with the printer? Are they full cartridges?

- Answer The toner that comes with this model will be Introductory versions. The ones in the box can yield up to 1200 pages. A brand new black toner can yield up to 2400 pages. A new color toner cartridge can yield up to 2100 pages.

QuestionDoes this printer require you to wake it up every time you want to print? I have read multiple reviews that say you have to walk over and push a button to get it to print even after sending a print job.

- Answer I've had this printer go to sleep for days, and the moment I send a print job to it, it wakes up and begins printing in a couple seconds. I read those other reviews too, and I'm not sure what they are referring to. I am running under Win10, and used the HP download site to grab the full suite of drivers and tools. Maybe that made the difference. But it works exactly how I'd want it to work.

- Answer The HP LaserJet Pro M454dn is just a printer and it does not have an auto document feeder for copying. Take a look at the HP LaserJet Pro M283fdw. That model has a 50 page auto document feeder for copying of multiple pages at once.

- Answer For the toner cartridges, the black is rated at 2400 pages, and the colors as 2100. The problem with Windows 10 getting corrupted and needing to be replaced is not anything common.
