Hello, Tuck. Yes, you can print checks with this printer. We recommend making sure that your bank does not require MICR Toner. If they do require MICR toner, here are more details. Unfortunately, off-the-shelf HP laser printers and toners are not MICR compliant since MICR check printing requires a MICR modified printer and MICR toner. You would have to print on paper until you adjusted your alignment in the software and also whether you need to feed the checks face up or face down. After the initial alignment process, it would be set.
