Yes. It's also compatible with Linux, with the latest version of "HPLIP" installed. I think the provided Installation Disc will work with Mac computers.

Yes. My soon to be wife and I have different computers, I have a Microsoft surface, she has a mac. Both instantly connected to the printer without issue. Hope this helps.
