• While you do not need a WiFi network, your phone needs to support WiFi, and it will use WiFi to print to the printers built-in WiFi network. It does not use Bluetooth. :(

• Yes, you can print directly to this OfficeJet 200 printer with a smartphone or tablet without needing WiFi.
