mine is very slow, also. printing is fast; copying is like watching grass grow.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Answer #1, below, was exactly right (YouTube vid, that is)! All you have to do is to remove the paper tray. You'll get a message on the monitor of the printer telling you you're out of paper, to fill it, and CHECK TO BE SURE YOU'VE SELECTED THE RIGHT PAPER TYPE (it tells you what's currently selected). Below that you can select MODIFY, if it says "Specialty/Photo" or OK if you want to use "Plain Paper". If the copies take as long as getting back an IRS refund check, odds are it says "specialty/Photo" and changing this setting will fix the problem. Of course the next photo you try to print will have sucky resolution if you haven't reversed the spell.
