Thank you for your question! I work with HP but I have had Instant Ink on my printer since it was first launched. With HP Instant Ink you will never buy ink for your printer again. Every month you pay based on the the amount of pages that you print, not ink used, helping you save up to 50% on your costs! Whenever the printer needs ink it uses WiFi to notify HP who then ships you more ink as well as prepaid shipping materials to recycle your empty cartridges. You never pay for the ink or shipping, just your monthly plan based on pages printed. Everyone has their favorite things about Instant Ink. Personally my favorite thing is my ability to budget much more easily without the cost of unexpected and sometimes expensive Ink cartridges.

I used to be an ink nut and forced everyone to get the "ok" before printing anything in color. Now we just print away and everyone is happy. Love this service.

Initially I had one of the higher plans and then figured out that I was paying for more than we were actually using so just went online to my account and downgraded! Once in a while we ran over by a few pages but there is a rollover that usually covered it. So glad my printer came with this option years ago and we just stuck with it. The cartridges that are sent have a large page count so you don't need ink that often and they know when you are running low and send you ink way in advance. Absolutely recommend it and will be getting the play for my sons printer for college.
