- Answer This printer has auto automatic two-sided “printing”, but the Automatic Document Feeder is single sided. You cannot to two-sided scanning or copying as a result.

- Answer Scanner works regardless of ink; which it requires. I strongly recommend HP-Brand ink cartridges. Can't say you weren't warned. :)

- Answer HP ink cartridges should not be refilled. Refilled ink cartridges can leak in the printer requiring service that will not be covered under warranty. In addition, the print quality will suffer with refilled ink cartridges because the nozzles become clogged with this additional use. Please note that HP does not manufacture or support refillable ink cartridges. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
