Was it EVER available to Instant Ink? 3.) I saw it at Staples, right next to an Instant Ink display, and it seemed heavily implied. If it WAS available at one time, and no longer is, Why not? 4.) I do not see it in the HP.com list of approved printers, but this is an e-Printer, so theoretically, it should be capable of instant ink. This is a selling point for me. 5.) 7612 is not listed, but ANOTHER in the 7600 series IS. • Hi, Mike - I'm not an expert, so I may be way off-base. From the minimal reading I've done (the User manual is huge), an e-Printer is capable of printing from your Smartphone, tablet, or other device in addition to a computer. I don't think it has anything to do with instant ink. Have a good day!

• The HP Officejet 7612 is not HP Instant Ink compatible. The HP Instant Ink does not have anything to do the the HP ePrint technology, which is a technology to be able to print from mobile devices like tablets and smartphones.
