Hi, You can bypass the ink program. You have that right to do what you feel meets your budget. On the side note, the ink program is a great program because your ink sent through the mail after 6 months or less based on your printer usage. I love the ink program and it alleviates the worry antics about finding your correct ink size of physically finding it in the store. In my rural area, it is hard to find a printing store. I love the ink program because it is affordable. I pay $3.99 after 6 months when I enter based on my printer job expectations. If you can afford it, I'll say go for it!! You will not be disappointed.
