Did you ever figure out what the issue was?? Mine is only 2 years old and the same thing happened. HP could not help.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for reaching out. We're sorry for this issue. Sometimes a paper jam error persists even though there is no jammed paper (false paper jam). Reset the printer, which might clear a false paper jam error, and then try to print again. Do this: with the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer. Unplug the power cord from the power source. Wait a few seconds, then reconnect and power on your printer. Print something, to see if the error has cleared or if you still receive an error message.
