I don't use wireless. But I had another question about the fax calls coming in and found lot of information on web site hp.com/support. 24/7 Geek help is waste of time.

Hello. Thanks for your question. This HP Officejet Pro 8025e printer requires a landline for the fax function.You can use the HP Smart app to send faxes through the mobile fax. If you need to be able to send and receive faxes, you can use a service like eFax.
