Dear OLDMAN; Okay, the error state can mean many things: bad ink cartridge, faulty print-head, a paper jam, and so on. You could take the ink cartridges out first. You could then check both ends of the printer for jammed paper. Lastly, you could turn it off and back on to see if any of this helps. If nothing works, it's the motherboard on the printer. That would spell the end of your printer. Best of luck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.sounds like you don't have support for it or what you had ran out - if its under 30 days I think since purchase where you got it can help and or hp can as well - but if its in error I would suggest reseting it and starting the setup process over - you can do that from the device or from any connected device your able to print from - or were before it got the error - there is a particular error code that you can look up and it will tell you how to fix it if you don't want to set it up as new - but the set up is so simple I wouldn't worry about it and just set it up as new and you'll know its done right
