I have tried everything...settings, loading only cardstock, loading one sheet at a time, prayer, pleading, crying...nuthin'. This is a beautiful printer and does so much, but it will NOT print on card stock or even photo paper that is very heavy. It either jams or only prints half the page when it does finally get a page past the back roller. The specs said it prints up to 110 lb. cardstock. NOT TRUE!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.absolutely not. A simple Google search will return a long list of posts about this printer NOT printing any type of thick paper at all. Changing the setting to Thick Paper does nothing to help. Putting through 1 page at a time doesn't help either. Truly do not buy this printer if you are printing on anything other than 20-24# paper.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is not recommended to use cardstock with this printer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I make my own greeting cards. I feed the paper stock from the bottom tray.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it will not
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the HP 8720 printer can print onto card stock, as can 99% of past and present HP printers. The card stock must be place into the paper tray. However, you must read the User's Manual to find out how many pieces of card stock will fit, and to find out if card stock and regular print paper can be in the tray at the same time. Some HP printers can do this, but in some the paper must be removed, and then ONLY the card stock inserted.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. In the same paper tray. Just change the print setting
