• You can use either the "smart app" (which I hate), or physically on the printer screen. Adjust the guides, and change Your paper in the tray first. Then go to copy settings, tray selections, then paper size ... see pics below.

• Thank you for your question, Anna! The paper tray is adjustable and can hold Legal sized documents. When printing each job, the print job settings will appear for you to select paper size and type as well as print quality. This is where you will select Legal size for that particular print job.
