Yes it does smear. However, I found that if I remove it and set it aside and let the ink dry it’s fine. Or I can’t touch the ink right away. This shouldn’t be the case, but unfortunately it is. Also, you may want to see if there is a certain type of label that needs to be purchased to avoid the smears.

Avery 15665 is a label for use with laser printers and cannot be used in inkjet printers, like the OfficeJet Pro 9025e. That's why you have smearing - the ink is applied differently than with laser printers. Use labels marked for use with inkjet printers - Avery should have a compatible label. Alternatively, you can purchase a laser printer if you want to use the same labels you're now using.
