A:AnswerI don't know the answer to the warranty question but I added a 2nd M.2 250GB drive to store my games on. So far, no problem. Just remember to peel off the plastic covering on the thermal pad which is on the bottom side of the copper heat-sink over the M.2 Slot. Depending on the type of M.2 drive you install, make sure that thermal pad is on the chips of the drive to dissipate the heat properly -- otherwise the drive might get too hot and then throttle down its performance.
A:AnswerI concur, this is stupid business practice- we see you Intel, holding back your superior competitor. Sponsored poor thermals in asus tuf laptops with AMD, a deal that bars AMD from pairing anythig past an RTX 2060 with ryzen 7 until the end of the year; just concede and get out of everyone's way already, you look like poor losers.
A:AnswerThanks. I spent 1.5 hours on the phone with HP support the other night and we updated all the drivers, BIOS, uninstalled and reinstalled drivers. The ticket was escalated but didn't hear anything for two days after that so took a chance and exchanged at Best Buy. New one works fine.
A:AnswerSince the answers above are contradictory I thought I'd weigh in. I just bought this laptop and the camera is not Hello-compatible. It also does not have a fingerprint reader.
A:AnswerTo customize your keyboard, you need to use the Omen Command Center that is on your laptop. Refer to the Lighting section of this webpage. The video at the top of the page give you a quick overview of the Omen Command Center. Here is the webpage: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05387497
A:AnswerThere are huge performance differences between the 3750 and the 4800. Quad Core vs 8-core first. The new cores are much more efficient and lower power. Some of the benchmarks comparing the two can be found here. https://www.cpu-monkey.com/en/compare_cpu-amd_ryzen_7_4800h-1146-vs-amd_ryzen_7_3750h-1091 Definitely get the newer 4000 series if you can afford it.
