Hello, Nick. Thanks for your question. RAM is one of the easier components to replace. It does require removing the bottom cover of the laptop to access the motherboard. The instructions can be found on pages 33-35 of the Maintenance and Service Guide under the Manuals tab on this webpage: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/omen-by-hp-16.1-inch-gaming-laptop-16-k0000/2101129690/manuals Or you can have the Geek Squad at Best Buy upgrade the RAM for you. We recommend reaching out to the Geek Squad for the current pricing. As long as you are careful with the upgrade, it will not void the warranty. You will need to purchase the 32 GB DDR5-4800 RAM SODIMM (laptop) RAM. The model of this laptop is the HP OMEN 16-k0023dx. If you need further assistance, we recommend reaching out to HP Support: https://support.hp.com
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Upgrading memory and storage will not void the warranty. Changing memory is easy. Watch YouTube vids to see how to unscrew and *carefully* pry the cover off your laptop. There are no screws involved with swapping out the RAM sticks...that part takes less than 20 seconds. Save yourself the cost of installation.
