A:Answer Hello PapaTLane, I bought this unit awhile ago and upgraded the RAM and had the same issue. I would go to play any game and the PC got so hot that there would be multiple seconds input lag, and the game seemed to play a second freeze for a few seconds endlessly even turning the games on the lowest settings. I found out If you dont buy the correct brand of ram (Crucial) that the new ram even though its rated to be 2933MHz it will default down to 2133MHz speed. And when I noticed that I got mad and looked into how to fix it, learned about XMP profiles for overclocking RAM and turned it on and THAT is when the overheating started. There are a few different parts that all have to be able to run with XMP profiles on to overclock and unfortunately this unit doesnt allow it with current parts. Took like 2 weeks for me to find out that was the issue. If you did turn on XMP profile go back and turn it off and it should work like normal. Unfortunately I am stuck with 64gb of ram stuck down at 2133MHz instead of 2933Mhz. If I knew that sooner I would have just got the right brand (Crucial) even though its more expensive. Crucial adjusts the ram to the right settings so it automatically detects the MHz it needs to be at. Hope this helps
