- Answer I've only seen the temps get up to 67C under synthetic load (Cinebench R20). One large intake vent on the underside of the laptop, and one large exhaust vent in the screen hinge.

QuestionSo I bought this laptop and tried to attach two external monitors to it. I connected one through HDMI and the other through usb-c. Only the HDMI port will connect to the monitor. Am I only able to use one external monitor?

- Answer USB-C is solely for USB purposes and not thunderbolt. Connecting a monitor requires thunderbolt, so you're stuck with one unless you use a usb-to-hdmi adapter of some sort

QuestionDoes this have an IPS screen? The question has been asked twice here with HP contradicting it's self on both answers, saying once that it is IPS and another time that it is not. Can HP please provide a definitive answer? Thank you.

- Answer I'm sorry that there's been some confusion and a wrong answer given. We really try and avoid that. Looking at the official HP specs, it does not show it as an IPS display, so it is not.

- Answer Office 2010 will work just fine on this computer, which is running Windows 10. Office 2003 is not supported-it may run or it may not, but to have a chance you'll have to run it in "compatibility mode"

- Answer The memory module you want to look for is 8GB DDR4 3200MHz PC4-25600 1.2V 1Rx8 260-Pin SODIMM Laptop RAM Memory Module M471A1K43DB1-CWE made by Samsung. This is the same as the single stick of RAM already installed. HP has the manual on the website that gives you directions on how to remove the bottom cover and install/replace memory. It is very easy to do and should take you all of 10 minutes once you get the new RAM.

- Answer Yes this would be great for home office use. You might not even need an additional HDD. If you use MS 365 for example you get 1TB of online storage.
