QuestionDoes this HP Computer have a disc drive? It shows one in the picture but does it work?

- Answer It does not. I looked at the same picture that you did and also looked at the display model in the store and thought it had a disc drive. After purchasing the PC discovered that a disc drive can be added, as an upgrade, which would require additional money be added to the price. I now have to go purchase a USB disc drive in order to install programs that need to be installed on the new "no disc drive" PC.

- Answer No! It fooled us too. When you open it up, there is a place for a CD drive BUT NO CD DRIVE!!!!!

- Answer Yes, you can install a graphics card. Because the computer has only a 180 watt power supply, you'll need to install a card that doesn't use much power.

Questionwhat internal dvd rw is recommended/fits this tower?

- Answer I had to buy an external DVD Writer, it is an LG, which works great. This tower does not have one of its own, after many attempts to open the door on front of tower. I don't know if you can use an internal drive on this model. What I got looks like a regular disk player, it is flat about 4x4 and runs in the range of $40.00, unless you can get on sale price, which I was able to do. It plugs into the front of the tower. Just put the disk in and it is ready to go. I hope this helps.

- Answer There is one available M.2 slot for a M.2 solid state drive. You can install a PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD into that slot.

- Answer Hi Jamie. I doubt that you can find a 600 watt power supply that fits in this system. This Desktop PC has the L81008-800 - 180W power supply installed. This chassis can also use the L64961-800 - 310W power supply, and the connectors should be the same. I hope this helps you.

- Answer While this is not a computer designed primarily for gaming, it could play some games. We recommend reaching out to the developers of the game to inquire about the specifications needed to meet their minimum and recommended specifications. A lot of modern AAA titles will list a dedicated GPU as a recommended requirement and this unit does not feature one.
