Thank you for the question. Tank printers don't have cartridges, and when the tanks are closed, the ink won't dry out. However, ink inside the printhead or ink delivery tubes may change viscosity with low use. To ensure the health of the printheads and ink delivery system, it's a good idea to print one page each week or so and keep the printer powered on at all times so that it can perform cleaning cycles when necessary.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think so. Lately I've been using this printer once a month or even less and have not had any issues with the ink drying out. This has been my experience for both black/white and color printing.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Almost all ink jets will clog if you only print a few times per month. I'd suggest using a print shop unless you are too rural for accessing one.
