• There is two print heads, but you fill the tanks up and they refilled themselves, saving a lot of money and cartridges

• Hi Michelle, thanks for your question today. The HP Smart Tank Plus 651 printer will use the HP 31 and 32 ink refill bottles instead of cartridges. The HP 31 is the color ink, and the HP 32 is the black ink.
