Q: QuestionI bought the HP Spectre 16-AA0023DX model and the fans are quite loud for just browsing the web or doing non-intensive tasks. How can I make the fans quieter? I couldn’t find the HP command center when searching the Start menu or the Microsoft App Store.

Q: Questioni was wanting to know if this laptop really has g sync cant find the setting for it in the nvidia control panel and its not labeled on the nvidia sticker and it should be if it was true so are the features wrong on this website wrong about the g sync

• A:Answer Thank you for the question. The Spectre16-aa0023dx has a 16" screen (measured diagonally). Screen-to-body ratio is not a measure of the screen size, per se. It is a measure of how much the display covers the face. Think of it as "useable area". It is presented as a percentage, in this case, when opened, the screen will represent 90.55% of the display area, due to the thin bezel (frame).

Q: QuestionDeciding between HP Spectre and Dell XPS 15 or 17 I do multitasking and need laptop connected to two additional monitors i assume this model Ram/ SSD will be sufficient with right thunder bolt dock Maybe even a 16gb. Im Coming from a Macbook Pro M1 8gb..

• A:Answer Hi, thanks for asking this question. Honestly, I think that 32 gigabytes is better for "future proofing" a computer. I do fairly heavy multitasking, and the 32 gigabytes on my machine makes it run noticeably faster than when I had 16 gigabytes. I can switch between the apps I have running without the computer having to go to the SSD to reload the program I'm running (but not using at the moment), since they're both in memory.
