• A:Answer the Zink photo paper is different for each brand of printer that takes it. If the HP paper will work at all, you may not get good results using it.

• A:Answer The printer doesn't use ink. I uses a technology called Zink (zero ink). The special zink paper is thermal and so the printer uses no ink.

• A:Answer Hey there, zink doesn’t provide info on the longevity of their photo paper... similar brands state 9-12 years depending on exposure... I’m sad to say this is likely the case... which means unless you intend to cover the pics in your scrap book with something else, I’d say you want to revisit in 20 years, it may very well be faded. I am also still researching whether the sticky back is archival or will eventually disintegrate the paper it’s adhered to in a journal or scrapbook.
