• I printed 10 photos (from a Samsung Note 8) with the starter cartridge that came with the printer.

• was she using the sample pack provided with the printer? think the initial sample pack only has 6 or so prints and ink. you should get 80 prints with ink with the photo paper replacement pack.

• We only printed a few as well the 1st time. I believe we wasted some through trial and error as we figured it out. After that we printed about 20 or so before replacing ink. It is definitely not cheap to use regularly.
