- Answer ..I am no computer guru, but as I understand this crazy business, a true laptop has a hard drive in it and (often...? always...?) has a disc drive in it. The Chromebook sends everything to the Cloud as I understand it...there is no disc drive in it although there are various ports, etc. on it.....Hey; I have had mine for over 3 years and it serves me outstandingly every single day of the week...There really isn't anything i cannot accomplish with mine....

- Answer Hey, i'm not sure about upgrading the RAM but you could try. I have tried to do so with other models but they might suggest to add another RAM in the laptop which does not do much. As for Photoshop and 3D modeling software, I doubt you can unless you attach an external hard drive since the storage space in this laptop is tiny. That's what I did and configured that all downloads and installations go to the hard drive. Keep in mind though that you have to attach the external hard drive before you turn the laptop on to prevent errors. The external hard drive that you attach will pretty much become a permanent accessory for you laptop.

QuestionDoes this freeze when accessing video streaming? I have a 10 and 11 year old who complete their class online so I guess what I'm asking yes if when you are on the internet streaming does it freeze or buffer badly?

- Answer The Stream is specifically designed for Video streaming. For online course work, I would not recommend the Stream due to it specifically being intended for light web use, and video surfing. The best bang for the buck option for online schooling is the Silver Fusion. It offers over 30 times the storage, double the memory, and a processor that is about 5 times faster. It also has Bluetooth, a DVD drive, and a larger display. All of that for $339 for the non touchscreen version.

- Answer You always have to recharge the battery. It varies on how often I have 2 laptops and one will hold a charge for about 4-6 hours the other a few hours. Although they advertise them for longer than that...it is one of the biggest drawbacks to laptops. Can always plug them in but that kinda defeats the purpose of a laptop.
