• Please note: (1) The unit is rated at 16GB max, in two slots, but has been tested at up to 64GB; (2) When HP warns that "the RAM is not user accessible," it is saying that you may void your warranty if you perform any upgrades yourself.

• Adding more information: Forgot to mention that since this is branded as a "gaming" laptop, it is unlikely that upgrading it yourself would void any warranty. Vendors and manufacturers full expect people to perform these activities.

• Hello and thank you for asking. The HP Victus 15-fa0033dx has 2 DIMM slots for DDR4-3200 RAM. It can support at least 16GB. The RAM is not user accessible. A technician is required to perform the upgrade. Please contact HP Support regarding support for more than 16 GB RAM.
