QuestionDo the fans get loud? Like "plane-coming-in-for-a-landing loud"? Looking to use this for super basic 3D work and design, and play MMORPG games like LotRO. Don't want something that sounds like it's going to blast off every time I load into Bree.

- Answer There is some noise (can't have fans without it) but I certainly wouldn't classify the sound as "loud".

QuestionThe outside of the box for this laptop has a large graphic that appears to be some sort of battery warning. Will I be able to carry this laptop in the box on a plane--it's a gift for my nephew in Mexico. I know that some batteries aren't allowed on planes

- Answer It really shouldn't be a problem-people fly with laptops every single day. The TSA may want you to turn it on to prove that it's really a laptop, so carrying it in the box may be an issue, because the inital setup process can take some time. Probably the best option would be to take it out of the box, do the initial setup, and then put it in a laptop bag for the trip.

- Answer I recently purchased this laptop and replaced the Samsung 8 GB RAM with 32 GB (16X2) DDR4-3200 SODIMM RAM. I got a good deal from Micro center on G-Skill Ripjaws RAM. You can use any ram upto 32 GB till it is DDR4-3200 SODIMM.

- Answer Hello, this gaming laptop is installed with Windows 11 so you would need to have Solid Works 2022+ to be compatible. According the system requirements of SolidWorks your device will need to have 16GB RAM or more so this will not be enough in this device. Please ask an associate of Best Buy to assist you in locating the device that has a larger amount of RAM. This device does come with 512GB SSD and that might be sufficient for running CAD programs such as SolidWorks. Please contact the software manufacturer and confirm with them before purchasing. You do have 14 days with Best Buy to use the device and if you find it is not performing sufficiently for you the return policy is available within that 14 day period. - Answer Yes, as long as you don't need high bandwidth over HDMI. The HTMI 2.1 port in this model has TMDS ("fake" HDML 2.1), not FRL ("true" HDMI 2.1). You cannot run your 4K UHD smart TV/monitor at 120Hz on this unit over its "fake" HDMI 2.1 port. Neither the integrated Intel UHD Graphics nor the GTX 1650 supports HDMI 2.1 FRL, which is required for 4k@120Hz and 8k@60Hz.
