• Yes! You can also swap the memory which is pretty rare on laptops. Ive loved mine so far, but my only compplaint is battery life is very low

• Yes, it will support up to a 2 terabyte SSD. Because it requires partially disassembling the computer to replace the drive, you'll want to have a trained technician do it. The Geek Squad at your local Best Buy would be an excellent choice.
