QuestionThe Specifications state the SSD drive capacity is 256 GB. Does this mean upgrading the SSD to 512 GB is not an option?

- Answer This answer by the HP associate is incorrect. You can upgrade and/or expand the storage by using the additional M.2 NVMe slot or by cloning the original SSD with your OS on it and replacing it with another M.2 NVMe SSD.

- Answer There is no 2.5" drive bay for a HDD, but a spare NVME M.2 slot with heatsink. I have installed a second 1tb NVME in mine, works perfectly.

- Answer Thanks for your question. I have seen photos of models with a side exhaust vent. This model has very large intake vents for cooling on the bottom, and the exhaust vents for cooling seems to be along the rear.

- Answer The cpu is soldered to the board. Almost every laptop you buy is going to be that way. RAM and HDD are upgradable, but not much else.

- Answer For someone experienced in working on laptop hardware, it's not difficult. However, it's fairly complex computer surgery (it requires removing other parts to get to the RAM) so if you're not familiar with laptop repair, your best option would be to have the Best Buy Geek Squad do the work.

- Answer It is from plastic, I guess. You can check youtube, a one youtuber mentioned that it is from plastic and it fells cheap. Anyway, don't be surprised about the build quality of a laptop in this price point. I guess it won't make an major difference.

- Answer There are 2 m.2 nvme ssd slots, it comes with the 256gb and you can put however much in each slot I had 500gb ssd in one and the original 256 in the other
