- Answer Lookibg at the specs will tell you everything. It is a GSM phone. It will work with T-Mobile, att or Thier sub brands cricket and metro pcs. Does not work on CDMA networks such as sprint or Verizon.

- Answer Yes they sync with each other. I add things into the Huawei calendar all the time because I like the layout of Huawei's calendar. And when I go online on my PC , everything I entered shows up in my Google Calendar.

- Answer Honestly, the specification speaks justice and truth about the Huawei Mate 9. I did extensive research about this and it definitely has met its promises. I have been Samsung user for 5 years and when i made the switch i was not disappointed. It’s a phenomenal device with great battery life ( 4000mAh), 4 GB of RAM, 64Gigs of internal storage with an option of expandable memory( micro SD card compatible) , 7.0 Nougat, and front camera 8 megapixel, 12- megapixel in the back along with 20 monochrome megapixel. Compare the specifications with other phones and you will see that the Mate 9 is best overall. Highly recommended.

QuestionThis have a built in fm radio for local radio stations? And if the battery is swappable?

- Answer It does not have a built in FM radio in it unfortunately, but you can listen to your local stations through their app, or through the browser. The battery is not swappable, but it's bigger than the batteries in most flagship phones. I can get through a full day of moderate use without any problems and the included charger is very quick.

QuestionDoes the Mate 9 have live icons that will indicate if there are new emails, texts, voice messages, etc. waiting and the number of them that are waiting to be read?

- Answer Yes, on the upper notification bar at the top of the screen it will indicate how many voicemails there are. As far as emails, it shows that you have them but not how many at the top. Its like most Android phones in this respect.

QuestionIm upgrading from a Samsung Galaxy S5 to the Huawei Mate9. My Samsung uses a Micro SIM, where as the Mate 9 uses the Nano SIM. How do I go about activating my phone since the Micro SIM doesnt fit in the Huawei? Do I have to go to an ATT store?

- Answer Yep, just head to your carrier and get a new SIM. Some stores / carriers may charge you for the NanoSIM or activation but there are many that will waive the fee. There might be SIM card cutters that look like handheld hole punchers that will cut you current SIM to the right size but if they mess up, you'll need to get a new one.

QuestionHere in the US, ATT has shut down their 2G Network. Will this phone allow SIM1 on 4G and SIM2 on 3G? or is the second SIM restricted to using a 2G antenna?

- Answer I looked at the Sim 2 slot, it says 2G/3G on it, Sim 1 says 2G/3G/4G. I hope this helps, this phone is unbelievable.

QuestionConnecting everything to Outlook exchange server and outlook.com mail is key for me. I want "OK Google make an appointment for..." to put the appointment in my Outlook calendar, reminders, etc. Can the Mate 9 accomplish this?

- Answer Hello BigDave, when you pull up the email app on the Mate 9, you are able to set your Outlook email as your default email. so that when Okay Google pulls up your email in your request by default it will select your outlook calendar and email. (DM)

- Answer Buyer beware. The Mate 9 natively does NOT support T-Mobile wi-fi calling. Do not let anyone fool you. TMobile wifi calling is different than using Google voice number via the Google Hangouts app for Android. TMobile wifi calling transports your TMobile assigned phone number over WiFi protocol for both incoming and outgoing. This is a very specific function and T-Mobile has to enable it for the device. TMobile has NOT enabled it for the Mate9.

- Answer Nope! And be super careful. Mine is fragile at best. I've owned androids for near 10 years, this is the first broken screen. It fell on a carpeted floor from 2 feet! I'm gonna pay to fix it, and sell it. (Huawei didn't honor their warranty!)

- Answer i've answered a couple of qyuestions about buying international phones from Huawei - avoid doing this!! Huawei USA does not support international phones. If anything happens, you'll be stuck with an expensvie paperweight.

The Mate 9 system is designed with status bar notifications which can automatically recognize message content and provide shortcut operation keys where it doesn't affect the current operations. This is more convenient than pop-up notifications, which have been canceled for messages. If you want to turn off the status bar notifications, go to > Notification & status bar > Notifications management, select the app, and then turn off the Status bar switch. You do not need to unlock your device to see your text or email messages.
