QuestionCan I use normatec legs on only one leg? How about the hip attachment on only one side? Thanks.

- Answer Hi there! You can use one leg attachment at a time if you want. You will just have to ensure that the rubber stopper that comes with your hose is firmly applied to the open connection port so no air leaks from it. If you need help locating that rubber stopper, you can find it on the underside of the "Y" connection part on your hose. You cannot use one side of the hip attachment however as both sides of the compression are contained within the one attachment.

- Answer Hi there! The Normatec is a dynamic air compression device. The boots will inflate around the legs and will inflate and deflate with the device. We suggest going with the standard size boots because you can always turn off the top zones so that it will fit someone shorter than 5'3. - Answer Hi there! For that size range, we would recommend the short boots as they would most likely fit you best. Another measurement to check would be your inseam length. If you have an inseam between 28-34 inches, then we would recommend the standard boots. For anything shorter than a 28 inch inseam though, the short size would be best!

- Answer We do not recommend to wear anything other than an article of clothing under the compression sleeves. With how the boots compress, there is risk or damaging the boot or injuring yourself if a ice pack, brace, or other protruding items are between the boots and your body. You can use an ice pack for ice therapy before or after using the Normatec boots though, if you wish!

- Answer Hi Lola, The Normatec system is an over the counter medical grade device. The indications for use are for relief of minor muscle aches and pain and to increase circulation so we highly encourage consulting your physician to see if pneumatic compression is right for your health condition!
