Yes, it should be better since it's 2666mhz. I prefer 3200 mhz but for this price... Additionally, if you read the specs, it clearly states two(2) sticks of 8 gigs each for a total of 16 gigs. I should rec mine on Tues Nov 10, 2020. if it's not 16 I will answer back. WARNING this is DDR4 ram. which is the most current generation, DDR5 is out but not widely avail. DDR3 is not compatible with the same motherboards as DDR4.

If this RAM is going to be added onto existing RAM instead of replacing it, than you'll want to make sure the speed and memory are the same as the RAM that is already in use.
