Q: QuestionI have a bottom freezer fridge, Kenmore Model #596.69313010. need an Ice maker and the sticker says IC13B. Is this correct model for this Fridge?

• A:Answer Hi just installed this item in my Kenmore which says on the label to use ice maker IC13B. Installed with no problem. A great working ice maker. I couldn't be happier with it. Use copper tubing, not vinyl and it will go well. Should install an inline carbon filter. I didn't need one as I have a whole house hybrid watersoftener/filter.

Q: QuestionI have a Maytag MBT1954DRW fridge. I am looking to replace the whole kit rather than attempt cleaning a foul pump, lines, maker. Is the IC13B compatible and does it come with the pump, tubing, feed-ramps, etc? Thanks!

• A:Answer We just purchased the 1C13B ice-maker to go with our new freezer at the bottom Amana refrigerator. The delivery people came with the ice-maker in a box, the lines and all the equipment to install same. It took them about 15 minutes or so of crawling under the sink, offering the pump lines through and inserting equipment at the back of the refrigerator to connect everything. All works well. I hope this helps.
