Q: QuestionDoes the LK65C include the water valve assembly? The online manual shows its part of "contents of kit" but overall i am getting conflicting answers..But If not included, what is the part number?

• A:Answer The refrigerator that I replaced with the LG had an ice maker, so I didn't have to buy a water valve. The water valve was already attached to my water supply. The LK65C kit that I received did not include a water valve assembly.

The Kenmore brand is not only made by LG. As of 2017, Kenmore products are produced by different manufacturers. You will need to contact Kenmore Support for assistance with an Ice Maker Kit that is compatible with the Kenmore Refrigerator. ^James.

Q: QuestionWe have an LRTLS2403S top-freezer refrigerator with water dispenser/filter which is compatible with the LK65C icemaker, but we cannot find instructions on how to tie the icemaker water line into the existing water line and valve for the dispenser.

• A:Answer hello, i have the same quesiton as above and contacted LG but they refused answer my question. The icemaker manual does not addess installing it with the LRTLS2403 model which alread has an exisitng water line for the water filter. The Best buy technician came to install the icemaker and then did not install included water valve assembly saying it was not necessary. then said a part was missing to hook up the water tube for the ice maker with the existing unused second water tube from the water filter. Please advise
