• yes. you will need a P5 pentalobe screwdriver. this bit is included in the ifixit essential electronics toolkit.

• Yes, this has the special pentalobe screws that Apple uses proprietary. I was easily able to use this to open up my friend's macbook pro to clean out the fan for her.
