- Answer Hi Jud, Please see below for a few troubleshooting tips. 1. You can reboot the unit by disconnecting it from the power source for 30 second and then reconnecting it. Wait about 2 minutes to make sure the unit fully reboots. 2. If the problem persists after step one you may reset the unit, you will need to press and hold the Alexa button for 10 seconds until you hear the voice prompt say resetting. Then you would need to do the setup again. If you still have an issue after that please visit ihome.com/support

QuestionUsing your music to go to sleep and to wake up. How do you stop it from scollin the song and Artist after you stop the song and the bottom of the clock where the Date is ?

- Answer Once the alarm stops, the scroll should stop as well. You might need to say "Alexa stop". If the problem persists, remove the AC adapter from the back for 1 minute and plug it back in. That should resolve the problem. Best Regards, iHome Support https://www.ihomeaudio.com/support/

QuestionCan Alexa be disabled?

- Answer The purpose of having this unit is to connect to Alexa. If you do not complete the setup which connects to Alexa, the unit will not work. - Answer The iAVS16 cannot be paired to any other speakers. You can pair the iAVS16 to a mobile devices such as a Smart Phone or Tablet via Bluetooth.

QuestionHow do I reconnect to WiFi on my iPhone iavs16

- Answer You will have to completely delete the app and then reinstall it. I had to do this, and it was completely frustrating to get the app finally off of ios 13. You have to go into App store, and then scroll down till you fine the app (it may also be under purchased). Once you find the iHome app, swipe left, click the delete/hide, and it should completely remove the app. Then go back to the app store and redownload it and go thru the iHome steps. Good luck! It took me a while to figure this out

QuestionEach morning the date shows as “unknown” until I ask a Question then it resets to correct date. WHY is it showing “unknown”? Alarm and time are working correctly.

- Answer Mine does the exact same thing and that's why I am going to buy an echo show and get rid of this awful device. iHome abandoned the device and has offered no new updates in over 1 1/2 years.

QuestionHow do I set the month and date on my iHome AVS16 clock? Right now where the date is supposed to be it says "INFINITE"?

- Answer Sleep Mode is activated. 1. Open your iHome AVS App 2. Tap on Sleep Button 3. Change Sleep Duration minutes (infinite is highlighted). 4. Check the volume, light and color mode while you are there. 5. Use the back arrow to exit out the screen and you are all set (press the sleep button on the iAVS16 or say "Alexa, stop music" NOTE: You can also press the sleep button on the unit 3 times (it looks like an eyelash). - Answer The iAVS16 is in "sleep mode" and "sleep mode" is set (via the iHome AVS App) to an infinite duration. Press the "sleep mode" button (looks like an eyelash) on the top and it will revert to the normal display of the date. QuestionCan you permanently turn the volume down on Alexa for when she speaks on this clock? If I say turn the volume down she will, but the next time she speaks is VERY loud again.

- Answer Yes. The iPhone X will pair to the iAVS16 via Bluetooth. Note: WiFi is required to setup the iAVS16 and communicate with Alexa.
